NATIONAL BOARD
•    Made up of 1 representative from each Regional Institute, from which a President and Vice-President are elected every second year (even-numbered years). 
•    Responsible for discussing and making decisions on National matters which are then to be taken back to regional boards.
•    Meets 4 times a year with Annual General Meeting in September, after Regional Institutes have held regional AGMs.
•    The members of National are the Regional Institutes.
 
 
 
 
 
DIRECTORS
•    Each Regional Institute has its own board of regional directors – no set number - some have additional area committees.
•    One representative, normally Chairman, is nominated to represent region on National board
•    Board meeting held monthly, and AGM in August
 
 
 
NATIONAL OFFICE
General Manager (Pretoria)
National Co-ordinator (Cape Town)
 
·        Support to National President., e.g. correspondence, meetings with affiliated bodies etc
·        Setup and execution of projects as identified at National meetings.
·        Liaison with affiliated/industry bodies, both locally and internationally
·        Notifying regional offices about important information, benefits that may be of relevance to regional directors and members
·        Assistance with queries from regional offices
·        Assistance with all general queries from the public and estate agents, and directing callers to correct regional office or body for assistance
·         National accounts
·         Maintaining a National website
 
 
 
 
 
REGIONAL INSTITUTES
•    All regions have autonomy in respect of functions
•    Membership is on a regional basis
•    Regional Institutes are responsible for:
•    membership regionally
•    regional training
•    regional events eg sports day, ladies day, conferences
•    regional marketing
•    regional accounts

National Board*
- Immediate Past President + 6 delegates from Regional Advisory Council + 6 delegates from Corporate Groups Advisory Council
- Chooses a President and Vice-Presidents from among its members (every second year)
- Makes decisions on National matters which are then taken back to regional boards and the advisory councils
- Meets 4 times a year, with Annual General Meeting in September, after Regional Institutes have held regional AGMs
Regional
Advisory Council*
(RAC)
- 1 representive from each Regional Institute
- National vice-president (regions) chairs the council ex officio
- Protect and develops the interests of the IEASA Regional Institutes on a long-term and sustainable basis, but with due regard to the interests of other stakeholders
- Meets 4 times a year
Past Presidents Advisory Council*
(PPAC)
- All past presidents of the IEASA
- Immediate Past President (national) chairs the council ex officio
- Nomination committee for National Board appointments
- Supports and monitors National management
- Identifies and monitors key risk and performance areas
- Annual appraisal (with CGAC) of National Board
- Regular assessment of IEASA viability as a going concern
- Custodian (with CGAC) of ethical behaviour at National Board level
- Evaluates economic, political, legal, and other factors that affect the IEASA
- New business and member advancement
- With CGAC, oversees good governance within IEASA
Corporate Groups
Advisory Council*
(CGAC)
- Executives from estate agency firms which are corporate members of IEASA
- Chosen by the National Board
- Chooses a Chairman and Vice-Chairman from among its members (annually) - Chairman serves on the National Board
- Sets strategic objectives, goals, and key policies
- Identifies and monitors key risk and performance areas
- Annual appraisal (with PPAC) of National Board
- Approves annual business plan
- Regular review of progress against plans and objectives
- Custodian (with PPAC) of ethical behaviour at National Board level
- Evaluates economic, political, legal, and other factors that affect the IEASA
- New business and member advancement
- With PPAC, oversees good governance within IEASA
- Custodian of business within the estate agency profession
National Office
- General Manager
